  1. Made for myself, a little collection of animal bottle openers. After I realised I had given all of them away.
  2. Practicing some new stile bottle openers. We had a heat wave it was no time for the forge. A storm past yesterday so it cooled up a bit.
  3. About three weeks ago I found an injured kitten, his tail and leg was torn up. So the vet amputated his tail and fixed his leg. He is fine now. It is amazing how quickly the cats heal. So we got a new boy.
  4. Fence on the old bridge in Mostar, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Attachment on the outside.
  5. Years ago at work I got so annoyed of never being able to find the chuck key, wasn't the only one using the drill so I welded it to piece of small chain and cut open the chain link and welded it back once on the cable. It is still there years later, because you have to cut it of.
  6. Well hello Well hello from the old country. Interesting side fact, my ancestors are from the Czech Republic.
  7. Korčula Island. Lots of stuff but these simple door knockers obviously made without power tools or welders. And these hold open window shutters are very interesting design.
  8. I have an old CZ motorcycle and I bought a side mirror and didn't like the mount. After trying different ways of making it work I just made a new mount. One screw, one old pice of window hinge, 12mm square and 6mm round stock.
  9. Don't worry about it, I often look without posting. And sometimes after a period of not being on, there are a lot of new topics or replies and I just don't look at everything. It is beautiful work. Definitely inspiring.
  10. Ooo that is lovely. I like that.
  11. I guess it would depend on the weight of the anvil. However I have mine clamped down and if nothing else it helps me to move the whole unit around the shop or just to move it back in place as it travels a bit from just work. As I'm able to lift it by the horn or the heel and scoot it in place.
  12. Two more, leather and beech wood handles, from a knot on a tree. The longer handle has piece of antler. Blades from a coil spring.

    Awning

I guess it does a pretty good job.

Not adjustable. And far from perfect, it was a challenge to get them to fit.

When I made the roof on my little shop I didn't think I would be adding anything to it. But when it rains it gets the bottom of the door wet. So over complicated brackets for an overhang, I wanted it to look nice and be structurally sound.
