  1. This is my first knife making video. I'm self-taught for now, so by no means am I an expert on the subject... this is just how I do things right now. The blade is forged from steel found in bicycles, brake and derailleur cable (zinc coated) and chain. I pattern welded the Damascus pieces used in the canoe Damascus earlier. https://youtu.be/C65-tuBa5jg
  2. I'm making a right and a left handed hammer for the auction and a straight peen if I have the time.
  3. The steel was a RR track flange, and the hickory handle I got from a tree a friend chopped down.
  4. This is the first diagonal peen hammer of a set that I'm forging. They will be donated for a foundering auction that benefits BAM (Blacksmiths Association Of Missouri) https://youtu.be/Fy2D5oCn2aQ
  5. Most definitely a William Foster 1886. Thanks c-1ToolSteel!
  6. I just pick this 194lb anvil for $450 and I would like to see if you all can help me figure out who made it and so on. Thanks. https://youtu.be/pfRwzdlFG0E
