    all I gotta say man drink plenty of water when you come to town, or you will die even more so during the summer! with that kind of climate change its gonna be nasty for a few weeks to a couple months getting used to the heat.

    Say! anyone still alive after the bbq summer and the floods of the monsoon season? Sedona, red as red can be anyone know why? is it possible all that red comes from iron oxide? is Sedona a prime spot to go iron prospecting?

    I came across a listing for an anvil and the seller claimed that it was made by the company JET that makes industrial machinery. thoughts? Anyone hear about this company linked with blacksmithing? link removed

    Any reconendation on what amprage or voltage to run through an electromagnet to detect the iron?I've yet to find a bloomery video that uses the magnetite dirt/dust

    I was doing some research and i found out that magnitite is made up of 65% iron and I was courious what the process would be to make the dirt/dust into a bloomery. Could anyone point me to somewhere to see what raw iron ore looks like?

    A proper anvil, because its the very symbol of blacksmithing, the hunk of metal is nice and all but it just doesn't feel the same without an anvil.
