  1. Sure! I'll find out all the gory details!
  2. Thanks for the date Frozenforge! And Frosty; the guy at the machine shop is a blacksmith and has repaired anvils before. I only know it will be light years better than the track anvil I have now!
  3. Oh and about the pipe, I haven't got the pewter sanded of yet so you can't see the moon. But that is what I carved into it, hope it comes out o.k. I'll post pics of it when I get it done.
  4. They're gonna build up the missing bit and mill it off even with the existing face.
  5. Yeah, I know the face is bout gone. Gettin' it repaired even as we speak... "Moonpipe"... I picked that name 'cause I'm working a catlinite pipe bowl and I inlaid it with a Moon! OH! now that I look at it again, it IS an "A"! Duh,
  6. Hi all, Just bought a Trenton anvil with these numbers stamped on front feet: T 190, N(?) 5829. Could anyone tell me the year of manufacture?
  7. Pauldude, this is absolutely WIZARD!!! You are a genius! I can't wait to try the blower; I think I've got a tin somewhere... :D
  8. Hello everyone! My name is Kim and I'm raw beginner!! Just thought I'd post a few pics of my charcoal forge that I just fired up for the first time today. Wow, it works great. I scoured this forum and others for info and have cobbled together what I think will be a very serviceable forge. Am building a super sucker as well so will have good ventilation, now all I need are some tongs! Vice grips suck! Joined the CSMA group in Haysville. They are a bunch of really nice guys and are very helpful!! Anyway, glad to be here and hope I can ask you guys lots of questions! :D
