  1. Good morning, I have recently come across a new (to me) anvil. I was wondering if anyone could give me any sort of idea of the identification of the manufacturere. The three numbers stamped on the side are: 3..3..5 Any help would be appreciated..
  2. Good Afternoon, I have just returned home from a hunting trip to our original family homestead up in the northern part of Alberta. While up there, i kept seeing old barns everywhere and my "anvilitis" was in full force. I asked my relative who farms the old farm if he knew of anyone with an anvil they were looking to get rid of. Long story short, I ended up inheriting my great grandfathers old anvil. I haven't a clue what the manufacturer is. There is a large chunk missing from the top plate and i am also wondering if this is going affect the usefulness of the anvil. I would really rather not "break" the anvil anymore, but i know that my Great-Grandfather would want nothing more than for me to use the old brute. What are your thoughts? Thanks for any info you may have. Lee H&I Forgeworks
