I am here as a result of boat building - My brother and I are in to sharing hobbies. I convinced my brother to build a few boats with me and I had to pay up with starting to move metal with him. Now I am hooked. I just finished putting together a propane forge and am starting on some small projects (e.g. railroad spike knives, anvil tools, etc) here and there. So I still have three 14 foot skiffs in the backyard and a lot of new equipment for metal working. It is all fun! Meeting great people who have great ideas! This site is really good for us newbees.
