Does Hofi come with it? Any idea of size and preliminary pricing?

I haul heavy stuff in my truck, up and down Colorado mtns, sometimes pulling a trailer. Out here in the Rocky Mountain west, the next nearest town may be farther than from Brussels to Paris. A Citroen or Peugot won't cut it. Steel prices may be high, but it's diesel prices that are killing me. From what I hear it's not a crude supply issue but a lack of refineries.

Rat Hole web site talks about "tool steel" also. Any idea why the Nimba pritchell hole is on the round part of the horn just off the face?

I don't mean to hijack this thread (but to just include a tangent) - I would be interested in comments about a comparison b/w the Nimba and Rat Hole Forge anvils. Not the shapes which are obviously different, to each his own, but more on cast steel quality and performance.

Larry, What size is the I beam and thickness of plate? General question - even after measuring twice, cutting once etc... I have had a hard time getting the leg post to fit exactly. What's better, cutting the main support just a shade short and shimming the baseplate of the vise, or placing a shim under the leg foot?
