Goodness, how many wheels and belts did it take to make that shape and shine! I assume you were preheating it so you could weld the face on? 

Nice bit (and by bit I mean LARGE HUNK) of work. 

How did you make the crank shaft? was it forged, bent on a press or maybe a bit of both?'

I would like to make a smaller version of something like this and I was wondering the best way to go about it.

I like that blade shape, Where did the steel come from and was that forged or stock removal? Do you have a photo of the finished blade?

Did you turn the handle or just sand it to that shape. Looks like it should be part of a walking stick, 

This look like a it could be part of an test in spy school. Take a looks at fig1. How many different weapons can you make here? Nice blades. 

I have always loved that shape of knife. Looks really nice, how did it harden and temper? Does it hold an edge?

What did you use to glue the blade in to the handle? Did you pin it?

I like your forge. Did you use hard bricks for this and can it get up to forge welding temp?

Since you have a crossbow, I do not think people will badmouth stock removal to your face LOL. I am making a bunch the same way right now. Looks like it is going to be cool when it is done.

I agree, want to get good enough to make something  like this. Did you blue them or just season?
