  1. 1 1/2" x 6-8" longer ones on bottom. And no they are not kingpins.
  2. yes i wish i had a better finish on the handle but at the time i only had to 100 grit sandpaper. and i like the rough finish on some knives and polished on other. really depends on the other pieces invovled. The handle is a little angular and I'm aware of that. Thank you for the comment. surprisingly the pins are copper wire i straightened out.
  3. Had these around for quiet some time. They are 6-8 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide. Not sure of the carbon content but I will do some tests on one. Any ideas of what to do with them would be great.

  12. i found this old brake drum out back and i was wondering if it is too big to build a forge in. its about 16 inches in diameter and a foot deep. I can always cut it down if need be, but i don't want to do that if i don't have to. I will try posting a picture as soon as i can. Any help guys?
