  1. Thanks! That was perfect! Just what I needed and plenty of them, I also got this from the Pirate 4x4 guys welding source:life - Google Image Search Thanks again
  2. Yeah I did, I found a few but not too many, just looking for stuff like that. thx Copyrighted image removed and a link placed into the text.
  3. Hey guys, I know I haven't been on here in a few months (Maybe more like 6?) and never really posted up, but, I have a request. I'm doing a school project on oxyacetylene torches (public high school) and I need some photo's of them, either directly of them, in use, any neat ones, etc. I really dig vintage pictures of them too. I saw some back, but don't remember where. Thanks! -sammy

    Howdy

Hello from New Mexico. I'm Sammy I suppose a little background of me now I'm 16 years old, and have been MIG welding since I was about 4 years old when my dad taught me how. The metal working and fabrication bug was put in me. My mom is a bronze sculptor, there fore, I have spent a fair amount of time around foundry's and metal working. We have a Hobart MIG, a full size torch rig, plasma, and recently (6 years ago), forges. My dad and I built some forges out of some brake drums, one a large Semi drum, and we've been picking up anvils and vises. Last year my dad got me a 47 Jeep CJ2A to work on for my first vehicle, and I've been employing techniques I've learned to weld the body, so on. Dad helps when he gets a chance to now. Well, we've made a few knives, a pair of tongs, among other things for fun. I'm here just to learn more things This coming summer I plan on going to become certified in welding plate, just because I can as well Thanks for the neat site -Sammy
