Hey guys this is my first post so i'd like to introduce myself. My name is Zach and I've been forging for about two years now ,mostly knives and a few fire pokers and leaves and stuff. Its snowing right now and being a little sick but also itching to forge something but not wanting to spend a few hours out in the cold (my forge is outside) i went looking around in my tools and i found a knife i had made a some time back and thought to myself "i can make this look better and put it on IFI and hopefully the guys there wont make fun of me " (you can make fun of me if you want I'll take it like a man and never speak to you again ;) ) so here it is.
When i found it it was curved like a banana and dull as a carrot the only thing i didn't change was the handle
it's forged from 1/2" rebar bar (this was some time ago)
no finish because I'm lazy and didn't want to waste my time on rebar
it's razor sharp which is surprising since i only sharpened it with the fine wheel on my bench grinder, I also put a little false edge on the top for effect ;)
seems like a sturdy knife and i actually kind of like it in it's crude way :P i might just make a sheath for it and attach it my hiking pack or something.
sorry for the crappy pics
