Yes the round anvil is a steel sphere approx. 9 inch Dia.
The power hammers get used the least but I would keep the Iron Kiss
The stand in the center is Cast Iron
the others are made from steel plate ( they run from 1/2 " to 1 " thick depending on the size of the anvil
I made one for Brian Brazeal and I drilled a hole / made a drift from one inch square hot roll / heated up the 3 inch thick plate and drove the drift thru.
Only took two heats to complete but it was good and HOT
The hot roll being slightly oversize made the one inch square hole about dead on size when the block cooled down
I also move the metal to match the peen being used.
It helps when the left hand knows what the right hand is doing .
Requires just a little manual dexterity.
My tumbler is a cheap plastic drum cement mixer from tractor supply .
I added 3 pieces of sheet metal vanes to do the tumbling.
My media is used carbide inserts and silica sand
The plastic drum is a lot quieter than the metal drums and has held up well so far.
Plus it is easy to clean out ( just pull the lever and dump like a load of cement )
Forging Carver
Not too hard to build
That was 9 years ago so the costing would be pretty irrelevant now.
The side walls are 3/8 plate and the rest was build mostly from drops and such.
The air valve configuration was from some old ABANA plans.
STEEL ---- One of the most recycled items on the planet
Made some of those ( but to fit bricks on my mantle ) and have used them for 35 years ( this year included )
I stamped my kids initials in each one so there would be no confusion on who's was who's.
