The etching really brings out the "patterns" in the wrought. That texture fits the tool. This person likes it.

I use tear drop shape i prefere that style instead of wedging .
try Kane over there they sell drifts
. Heres a view of a rasp folded , welded and the tear drop shape not sure of how much degrees tho .

I forged this Dragon boat up to go with the Norse hope you like a piece of 1/4 fat by 4 inch used welding rod flatend for oars

Made these a while ago both from 5160 1 inch coil .raw hide wraps, copper jingle cones ,horse hair ,brass studs and .beading Hope you like Chris

19 3/4 inch long ,blade 15in , 3in widest point .handle end of blade a bit thicker .
just a covex grind .

Heres one i did few years back people may say waste of time but i enjoyed it fully knowing i could have used
any better steel i desired but chose a spike .
