  7. Thank you Glenn , I had that Information a some time ago in my files and lost it when I up graded to my New System .... I now have invested in a very "Nice Extremely LARGE External drive. I made it as a 20 terabyte unit so for size I am good for a long time . It is for Downloaded books, posted photos, schematics, drawings, directions for projects Ect, and Any PDF's I find that I will want to add to my Library for my self, others, or reference for later from Now on . Among other things as a stand alone unit from my computer all I do is hook to it and down load to the system and save it for the future if needed or for a Back -up due to a crash . it is one of the most Awesome investments I have made as is holds All of the families computers back-ups on it and they are up dated every lil bit to preserve their integrity and functionality as for others folks trust me it is an investment you will never regret and the Hard drive is very well protected so it should last for ever. 8. No ! most US Coins are Stamped into "Slots" (the round form), then the edges are formed , and finally the face and back are pressed by a Hyd. ton Press to form the face and back at one time . R&R track is cut by a Hyd. Controlled Power Saw with a carbide blade and the unit is fitted to the track so X & Y Cuts are Square and Straight . so the track can be removed and put back together in a seamlessly manner. Ret,Sgt. Yates
  9. This is good to hear been wondering about you as well . I also have a few other friends your way that I have yet to be able to get hold of the last few days . Ret, Sgt. Yates

Sorry folks , I have been down for a bit am just now where I can even get on here to answer to any inquiries of the project . as my face has swelled to twice its normal size for about a week . it appears to be an infection in my jaw that is the issue and currently prevents any progress for a time until it stops . I am truly sorry for the delay . In pain and still puffy . Ret. Sgt
  11. I will Look up where I have hung my welding Jacket it is well in to the mid 80's when I got it and the jacket shows that Motif of drawings and Painting on the back All done in Acrylic paints & Model Car paints Yes I still wash the same jacket as notoed above when I need to clean it after working with Black Iron and Oil coated steels that leave my welding Jacket very very Black and covered in oil and Metal grindings . I wash out the bulk outside and finish up with the Machine wash and when I get photos posted you will see it is still in very good shape . I have even made very minor repairs to it using Kevlar sowing thread yet it is still Extreamly soft and usable after 20+ years . Photos coming soon . Ret,Sgt. Yates

  20. The Term "Redneck" is really from back in roughly 1848 or so when the rail workers actually tied a Red Handkerchief or rag around their necks so other folks of like minds would know them upon site they were good folks that were standing up for what was good and right in that time and day. for that time and day it was the Union for better work days, wages, and treatment . the "Rednecks" were marching to the capital hill to be heard for their rights against the Rail Road Company and the RRC were trying to stop them in the Appalachian Mountains. So really it is NOT a bad thing to be Called a Redneck Gentlemen ;) Just a bit of History to chew on and for thought . Ret,Sgt. Yates PS YES ! This has happened to one of my tats a good slab of scale/slag flipped up and landed in a fold on my right arm and burned through my Leather Jacket and into my arm destroying my tat. ****If you've ever worried about a forging burn messing up a tattoo....
  21. Welcome Back Brother James, I look forward to seeing your work and also wish you a fast recovery Sir. Ret, Sgt. Robert D. Yates
  22. Ernest, I would simply ask for a O/A GP(general purpose) Flux Coated Rod in some stores Known as (LFB FC) it has a 50,000 to 65,000 tensile strength, heat range @ 1670° F to 1750° F . or simply clean the steel very well and use a pencil rod and torch O/A to sew it up as per needed for your project . and use Borax for flux . also a standard Old Coat hanger can be used depending on the project at hand . However you did not specify just what you were welding .
