Hello MrJosiah from Edmonton. Coal has a major distribution problem here in Alberta. The coal the guys tell you about is stoker coal or heating coal. It is "ok" to use but it will have alot of ash and possible sulfur. The Home Hardware in Sherwood Park up here carries 50lb bags for 55$. If you have a good sized truck there is Sparwood in BC.
