[ya i found a smithy that is right around the courner from em kinda he lives in another town i am going and try to talk to him and see what kinda tips he can give me.groups well hard for me to do right now my job has me working weird hours but i am goign to try and visit some of those places.but for now i will try and figure things out with help from the net here is 2 of my things i made so far. sorry abou the pics thou my cam decided to go bad pn me another thing to get new lol oh well so is life.

kool and no on the knife making and stuff not even going to try and do that untill later on.I want to do more things like making of the tools and stuff like that.But ya i get it i will make a better stand when i do get into that stuff.And i live in ohio and i got a bud who is going to take me to the junk yard soon.Well when it gets a little nicer out.i got a list from this book i found online that tell me what to find and use for different stuff.Anything i find online i read lol.Havn't started smithing yet but already itching to smack some metal around lol.

ok here is the question.Will this workstation work for me for awhile or will i have to renforce this? make shaft workstation here is the piece of steal on one end of it i also have this 6 inch vise in the middle of this crazy thing this is my almost finished rail road track anvil i need to find out how do i put a pinch/punch hole in it and also how i put a hardie hole in it.Or should i use that piece of steal for my hardie hole instead? also can i do my practicing of my hammer control on rr spikes or is that too hard to use for my practicing on?

well ty and ya i been reading anything i can get a hold of thank goodness for the internet and all the knowledge it offers.

Hiya, I am very new at blacksmithing.I mean really new i have a make shaft anvil and my hammers.I kinda know what to do but havn't started it up still not too nice out here in ohio.I was just wondering if anyone has a list of hardie tools i can try and make or maybe a site i can goto to see some examples of them so i can figure it out myself.If so the info be sooo helpful to me ty.gess sorry put this in the wrong place
