It is vertical on the back. I don't know if anyone noticed but below the hammer racks, there is a slot all the way across the front
for 1" hardy tools. It's an excellent design and very adaptable.
I can't take credit for the design, the customer brought in the drawings. I think the guys name was Ron Nichols who designed it.
I don't want to put up any plans because i don't know if the customer bought them..etc. I will say that the hammer racks are tiltedat a 28 degree angle. ;)

Ok so i work in a sheet metal fabrication shop with most of the regular goodies. But recently I've had some light blacksmithing projects for customers. I'm by no means a blacksmith but i'm learning. To cut to the chase I have a 160 ton dual cylinder press brake.

And i've been using one side as a forging press.Being a dual cylinder press that is 12' long, am I doing damage somehow to the brake by only using one side? It seems to be fine so far, but is stressing one side of it a bad idea? It works great by the way. It will squash a 6" long 1''x1'' bar easily down to 2 inches and it really doesn't seem to notice it's there. Thanks, Adam. -
I went there yesterday, there were several demos going on, 20 or so vendors including the folks from BIG BLU. Not a lot of tools around but i got there at 10 and left with 2 awesome rounding hammers and practically stole some wrought iron. I had a blast, and i'm definitely going again next time. Everyone was saying that it gets bigger and better every year.

This is my new love. I did ALOT of manual labor to get it. I know it's in rough shape but I wouldn't trade it for a brand new one.
The problem is I don't know anything about it. The guy I got it from said it was
a 250lb Mousehole anvil but i can't find any markings on it whatsoever.
Can anyone help me out? It's about 30" long and 6" wide 13" tall with a 1 1/2" hardie hole. I think the pritchel hole is 5/8".
Thats another question i have.... i can't find any hardie tools with a 1 1/2" shank. I have tons of
1' square stock laying around but 1 1/2" is a little hard to come by. Should I try to make a bushing or
something to accept a 1" shank? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
