  1. A while back I asked your advice on selling some of my metal working stuff. Several of you asked me to let you know when I sold something. I finally talked myself into letting go a couple items. I listed them on ebay this am. Here are the item numbers. Good luck! Item # 270551091770 Pexto blowhorn stake Item # 270551504318 Swage block
  2. Thanks I will do that, I didn't want to break any rules! Other forums I have joined, don't allow any selling. Didn't understand it, but rules are rules. Harry OH, There is only one real San Antonio!!!!!and its here in Texas!
  3. Just joined today, to ask for your expert opinion. I've had an interest in ironwork since high school shop. Have had a number of forges through the past 40 yrs, but I don't claim to be a blacksmith, smithy or whatever the correct term is? Now that old age has caught up to me, I need to sell off my tools. I have no idea how to do this. Where is the best place to sell an anvil? I have a Kohlswa made in Sweden, 89lbs, one foot has a "B" stamped on it the other has "41". Does this mean it was made in 1941? Can't imagine they were making anvils during the war! I’ve done a Google search and haven’t found one this size. Are anvils sold by the pound or what?. I’ve had this one since 1962 and it was used then. It still has a nice ring and only slight signs of use. I also have a swage block, that is 270 lbs 15x15x4.5 can’t read all the logo, looks like BOUTHEN, all is clear except the first letter. Can’t find anything about it at all? Can you fellows tell me anything about these, and what these things are worth? (NO! Mr. Moderator, I’m not trying to sell them here, just need to know more about them and what they are worth.) I thought of trying eBay, but shipping would be a killer on these. I don’t think there is a local market. No blacksmiths around San Antonio. Any ideas would be helpful, thanks Harry
