  10. I recently sold one of my spares but only to a working home not the collector that called who informed me he has 90 anvils in his collection. This topic is one that comes up quite a bit here in the states and for over seas and is a sore one for many.

Here is something I am woking on for a member here, I will have progress photos later on of how things went. Elk handle copper spacer, knapped 1084 blade.
  20. I was going to be a wise acre but decided to point you towards the knife making 101 section that Steve Sells and Rich Hale are doing. It shows step by step explaination and it might help you a bit. As far as specificly located smiths in your area, there are some I just forget WHO at this moment.
  21. I saw an IR version of this at the welding store and thought it was cool
  22. I am thinking of doing the mock rivets to make it look like one of the old fashioned Boilers. I want it to not only estetic but functional, I mean yea I could do it that way Scott but then it would just be a plain old pipe forge, I want it to be artistic as well....I know I am odd..
  23. I am making a new forge and I am trying to determine optimal placement as well as how many bolts I need to use in order to hold the Mizzou in place. I am starting with a 2 foot high 14 inch diameter pipe with 1/4 inch walls. Yes I know its thick but this is going to be a dual purpose forge..Anyone have suggestions.....I forgot to mention I was planning on making the bolt heads sticking out on the outside body to look like old style rivits like they used on boilers....so knowing the number needed and spacing to make them estetically pleasing as well. Also what size would be best.....
