  1. Ausfire google Dan Boone blacksmith dragon lots of dragons.
  2. Forging carver go back to the top and read his discription. It tells what the blade is made of.
  3. Make your tennons square and your petals wont move around.
  4. Go down to the knifemaking section and get your favorite beverage a comfortable chair and research. Its all been discussed before.
  5. John like the pattern will look good finished .
  6. The two different textures come from the way you hammered it . The straight line side was probably against the anvil . While the random patten is the side you were hammering on.
  7. Read the knife making classes in this section . Lot of years of experience put them together.

  13. Works easy at right temperature, doesn't rust as easly , forge welds easy. The wood grain pattern makes some cool knife hardware . Adds character to a project.
  14. If you go to the top of this section and click on the last page of show me your shop and scroll down to jim cokes shop there is an iron work sign that looks the same as one in door window.
  15. If the wire wheel or buffing wheel catch what you are working on on a stand it has a chance to go away from you . On a table it has no were to go , good chance its going to come back at you.
  16. If you are using wire wheels and buffs get it off the workbench snd on a stand for safety reasons.

  18. Your a blacksmith make a gouge and hammer and carve it in.
  19. Andrew it takes a special person to visualize and then put all the pieces together to create such masterpieces . You are are a true master at what you do. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Punch was used to remove rivets on a sickle bar.
  21. Just spay it with a clear coat over tne patina
  22. There was a wood stove on here made out of a big ball
