First Railroad Spike Knife

to me atleast, the look doesn't matter, if it's sharp and the blade shape is usable, it's a good knife for me

and I for one like the hammered look, it gives a nice pattern on the blade that I like,

it's a good habit though to try to reduce them as much as you can, don't worry though, it will come over time, seeing how this is your first RR spike knife and i don't really know how much experience you have, maybe rounding the edges of the hammers a tiny bit if they are store bought and still like you bought them

I've made more knives since this one, and yes i'm trying to forge in a way so there aren't any deep hammer marks though I do like the rough unfinished look. I sold this for $25. I don't know if I regret selling it yet.
