In all honesty, the hinges were bent hot and the lock plates punched hot. The rest is yes welded with a MIG.

Sorry Ten Hammers, was just thinking out loud and didn't mean to sound snarky. I figured the pics are randomly selected and likely came from the welding area on this forum. That certainly IS nice work.
