Anvil

Looks like a Fisher cast iron anvil, nice and quiet. :P

about the same shape when i got mine too.
mine was cast with a tool steel face.
not the ideal anvil, but i made plenty of money on it before i upgraded.

Your anvil is a Fisher made in the 1870's. Looks to have a decent top. Forge away. Use it correctly and it will last a long time...at least another 140 years.

Early english pattern Eagle anvil. I learned alot on my dad's. :)
