Sheet Iron Pipes

I made up some more of those sheet iron pipes. Historically they date from the mid 1600's on up into the early to mid 1800's. Hammered cold, with an inside mandrel to help shape the bowl. The seam is not soldered. I just ran a bead of elmer's glue along it to help seal it initially. As they are used, that seam gunks up and seals naturally. The tricky part is bending the bowl portion - without kinking it too tight. You want it to narrow down to help hold the tobacco in the bowl, but still open enough to draw well. In use they only heat up slightly more than the clay pipes like them.
