Marksnagel Posted April 3, 2011 As a retired Coast Guard Boatswains Mate I am very well versed in using a marlinspike. Those are really nice looking. I have one that followed me home one day about 30 yrs ago and now use it as a drift punch at the forge. A good spike makes splicing easy. Those are nice spikes. Mark<>< Quote Link to comment
