champion 400 whirlwind firepot & fabricated pan

I got this firepot at a local farm auction. I built the pan from a piece of 3/8 plate that I had left over from a bobcat bucket repair and the lip and legs were old bed frame angle iron.The firepot sits flush with the pan and is held up from the bottom with two flat straps on the firepot flange. Notice the pan conforms to the shape of the firepot where the metal goes into the fire.
