About Me
I have been told that I am so honest, that I'm stupid. Hence my choice of the double meaning name Steeler: to counteract that reputation.
I started welding at the age of 12 and have worked at jobs that required repair welding and some fabrication. I've always been intrigued by the way that solid steel can be reshaped after heating it red hot. Now (2010) I am putting together the essentials for blacksmithing. I have been collecting and saving choice bits of steel for my welding projects and now I see my stash with different eyes. I'm hooked and can't seem to get enough time at the forge and I'm thirsty for more blacksmithing knowlege.
Take care and enjoy life.
