  1. You have to have a photobucket account right? Not a big deal . It'll hit junk :)
  2. Was looking to ID what the numbers mean
  3. Got a hammer at a pawn shop . It's one of the squaty ones like on here looks like a squished mini sledge like a roundin hammer I guess. Say+800-36+ on the side . Or +869-36+
  4. I was gonna ask about the frog too, lil guy looks pretty real
  5. The cool part is after you told me whats in it I went back to look for what you said haha , it's like where's Waldo . What clear do you use? I've had clear lacquer last great and some peel out of the same can with the same prep.
  6. looks neat I bet your a master at puzzles the way all the pieces fit haha, sad too see vintage tools getting used though. Cant wait to see the next one
  7. wow its one of those "its so obvious why didnt I think of it" ideas! haha freakin love the idea
  8. these are very cool, but I hate seeing old working tools getting used for art. I mean if its too rusted or shot to use I understand. but alot of guys take wrenches that survived world wars and depression only to be made useless for fun. I did notice your wrench ends for the claws looked like china stock. More to ya for that haha
  9. looks a lot like a cool splitting maul to me. Very cool either way. the way I break splitting handles it would be nice to have one like that
  10. Hah I started a thread about a vise and it ends up being an English lesson . Well sorry I called it a stump vice. A real stump vice by the way is this goofy looking thing you hammer into a stump to clamp your chainsaw bar into for service and sharpening . Think I saw a picture of a " leg " vice " on a stump and that's how I remembered it
  11. Thanks for the input guys and ill look mr. Turley . Was wondering what markings to look for thanks! Yeah I realized the spring was ton after looking at some posted pics . Will see what is around the shop Monday to make one
  12. Oh it was $65 fn flea market tax
  13. Threads in and out smooth but it's got a few pits and the jaw is tweaked a little. Not markings I see and what is the double bevel below the thread for? Above the hinge
