  1. Thanks Thomas !! Its a 22 inch forge. It takes time and care! I just got back from vacation and hope to get a fire started soon. BTW ....does one name his forge???? Should it be a women's name????
  2. Does anyone know the date ....I found my forge here its a Challenge 4c but I would like to find out how old it is Ed
  3. Tom My Billets are maybe 10 to 15 lbs
  4. I have forged billets anywhere from 14 to 18 inches long in a forge that was smaller than this one. Any Idea of the age???
  5. Hello in new to the group. I am a knife maker and i just found a forge that is "farm fresh" just out of a barn in central wisconsin. It appears to be a Canedy-Ott . It has a Challenge blower on. I just bought on Sunday and it is up and running on Monday. The drive leather belts were gone so i had to make new ones, and i gave it a good wire brushing and the fan pumps really good !! Its amazing what a little TLC,Elbow grease and some WD40 will do. Can anyone help me with its age and value and hood design. I will use it to forge Damascus steel. Here are some pictures Thanks Ed Rottinger Iron River Knife Works
