JHCC Posted November 20, 2016 Author Share Posted November 20, 2016 FW (and Max Segal?) had led a team in making another Yellin-style gate a few years previously, in the lead-up to a major exhibit in Philadelphia of Yellin's work in the early '80s. (Fred was part of that project, too.) I'm trying to find photos of that gate to link here. One of the neat details was a pair of chiseled faces: one was a charming portrait of FW, and the other was the Devil (commemorating Yellin's nickname).
