Looking back, I think that was lost in translation...or were you stoned at the time? Or suffering from some other Millais?

Yes I agree, maybe we should show Morris-pect, and begin the beguine-agin...or would that be a Cole starter?

Alan

ps actually I take that back...it would be a crime not to have the opportunity to point out that Fools Ruskin where Engles fear to tread in this thread. Or would I get black Marx for that?

The masterfully played loose track pun actually had me wishing I'd actually read or even listened to lectures in those classes but shortly after I realized how lucky I was I didn't. I only recognize a few of the names and almost none of the references.

I'm just going to sit in my corner and watch you kids play now.

Frosty the semi-literate.

A colossal gentleman and a scholar!

Same part of the world as my Rosetta, but I am not harbouring any grudge. As Pharos I can see, all's fair in love and fora.

What did Michael Corleone say when his brother was nearly run over by an ice cream truck?

"Look out for the semi, Fredo!"

Ah I see...I always thought it was a garbage truck, and he made him an offer he could not Refuse.

But maybe I am con-fusing it with James Wood's end in Once Upon a Time in America...but that was Sergio Leone not Cor Leone.

Sorry getting a bit si-silly and corny now,

Alan
