I recently purchased this 70lb anvil for $75 and was wondering if anyone here may recognise it. It has what looks like maybe an 'A' above and left of the '7'. Not sure if it is an 'A tho because font is curved. Those only markings I see. Seems fairly decent shape tho. Any help appreciated. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JME1149 Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Thick waist, feet shape and mounting cutouts make me think early Fisher but the heel looks wrong, too short maybe. Looks to be in good condition and at $75 is probably a good bargain. More pics from different angles would definitely be helpful. I was going to undue it for better pictures but decided not to because it really chained pretty good. I did take few more pics, maybe they will help. Thanks again.
