adam cyphers Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 My smaller vise had trouble closing then the washer on the screw broke.ive also noticed the screw box is slanted downward. How can I move the screw box back into place without further damage? I have a large brass washer that will fit but ive noticed my larger vise has 2 pieces between the screw and front jaw.ant advice would be much appreciated. I'd like to ID it as well but no markings. ThomasPowers Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Vises were made by hundreds of different companies often in quite similar patterns and often unmarked; without markings it's pretty hard to identify a maker with certainty---especially not know where in the world it was found!
