Another century old file reforged into a knife; deer tibia from my uncle's hunt a year or two ago. When I first got the bone from him it was already in rough condition, to firstly I stabilized with crazy glue and vacuum chamber. I used to only do random hamons... not any more! TheoRockNazz Posted July 25, 2014 Author Share Posted July 25, 2014 I dremeled and filed the slit for the tang and guard, then poured an obscene amount of epoxy in there and set it overnight. The teeth left on the file plus the textured inside of the bone provided excellent hold for the epoxy. Originally I was thinking copper bolster/pins, but was talked down.
