I keep coming back to this post - I love the majority of your work, and the materials on this one are spectacular... but it looks like the customer designed the handle and blade to me... how'd you settle upon that shape? I ask because the waver in the cutting edge bugs me... and I'm not even sure why haha

Of course I will use  stone again,  this is my 4th time using stone, the first was jasper, and I made 4 before I got it right, shattered the first 3.  I am sure there will be more oportunities for stone.  This was my first for marble though. 

 

The odd design is copied from an old American Revolution time period blade.  The wave bugged me too, perhaps it was from over sharpening in the past?  The handle is shaped to fit his hand.    I added the pommel to visually balance it out, and to prevent the blade from slipping while cleaning game. this is the second pommel for this one, the first stripped out the threads when I tightened it, so had to re make it.
