Jim Coke
Greetings All, It's time for one more easy to make tool... This one is my favorite that I use all the time ... A simple old monkey wrench with a welded hardie shank and a brace support on the other end... This tool is great for collars and close ratio bends ... I use it all the time for just 90 degree bends... I also have versions with pegs for an adjustable bending fork.. The best style to use is the ones with a nut rather than one with the knurled screw.. Most old wrenches are a real good quality tool steel and last for years. Once you make one you will wonder how you ever lived without it... It is also great for holding while twisting.. Have fun Forge on and make beautiful things Jim

ianinsa
Jim is that a shop or a museum that your setup is in? It seems so light, bright and clean!(grin) cool tool BTW. I wish that kind of wrench just wasn't so scarce around this part of the world.
SoCal Dave
I agree with ianinsa. Nice anvil, horseshoeing stand, and a very clean floor. Oh yea, a clever anvil vice.

Greetings Guys, Yea I am a neat freak.. This shop is in town where I live in the winter... My wife calls it my FAC ( female avoidance center ).. It is about 30 miles from my real shops and I store a lot of junk and such for further restoration... Winter projects... divermike
oooooooooooo.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa nice shop! As to the tool, I can't make 90 bends with mine, it has rounded edges.
VaughnT
Excellent idea, hoss. I'll definitely have to keep that in mind.
arkie
Jim, my anvil stand/block is exactly like your 4x4 one in the shop pictures. Great minds run in the same rut.... :) Thing I like about the block stand is that anytime I need to move the anvil, just slip a two-wheel dolly under it and away I go! Doesn't roll like a stump.
