macbruce
Very cool, looks like a stove I could have a real conversation with. At first I thought it must an old marine mine.... You might have asked ''how do I cut into an old mine safely''.... :o .....That would have been a hot one.....

ThomasPowers
My first guess was going to be an old spherical propane tank---I still see them around out here; but we don't get many fishing net adjuncts here in the desert... Nicely done! I scrounged an old apartment hot water tank yesterday to begin making a stove for the shop. I want to scrounge another smaller one and nest them with dry sand in between them to act as a heat soak so I can burn hot short fires and then coast. I plan to justify the inner one along the top of the outer one so I have a fast heat up area too and can keep make a cup of tea as needed. Unfortunately I probably won't get it done for this winter as I have so many other projects hanging fire...sigh.

VaughnT
Definitely the best stove I have ever seen!! The overall design is solid, and I love the way you brought it all together. I could see that beast being equipped with a grill so you could use it to cook burgers, too.
