  1. Thanks for the input. I have updated my profile with location. It is priceless to me since it was my Grandfather's anvil.
  2. This was my Grandfather's anvil he used on his farm. There was no blacksmithing that I know of. What can you tell me about it, like age, value, etc.? Do I need to do anything to this before my son and I start using it? It has sat outside for a number of years.
  3. He decided to put hif fork to use tonight and grilled these ribs and had them ready for me when I got home from work. I could get used to this. Thanks for all of your comments and encouragement.
  4. He did put a design in it with his punch and chisel. He is already wanting to come up with a touchmark.
  5. He is in fact holding a single tine fork. It is the one I broke. He was pretty proud to show up the old man.
  6. Got my 14yr old son's workspace all set up today with the addition of his Grandfather Pop's old vise. He whipped out his very first project for mom. Now she wants a set of knives and forks for each place sitting.
