I've been wanting to do some knife making and other projects so my first priority was finding an anvil. Lo and behold my parents had this one out behind their garage, it was obtained from my grandparents estate when they passed. Its a 125lb Trenton, although the side is so badly beaten you can barely make out the logo. The top plate is what I need help with, can this be fixed? When lightly tapped with a hammer it a very distinct ring from the horn across the top with a very noticeable bounce near the middle. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
