Default Your Location Needed

With new members from all over the world joining IForgeIron and it is time to request that you identify your location by country of the world or State if in the USA. This will help other members remember who they are talking to and where they live.

Go to the top left of the forum page and click on User CP
Click on Edit Profile
Go to the bottom of the page then up 3 boxes to Location

Type in your Country or State
Click Save Changes
It is just that simple.

Only your location in the world is requested, but you may add other information if you wish. What you type in will appear at the top right of all your posts alone with the date you joined IForgeIron and the number of posts you have accumulated.

-------------------

If you wish to get a little more specific, IForgeIron has a Blacksmith's Location Map on the opening page of the site or click the link. This map can put a pin on the map at your location. It is a different system from the control panel that just asks for a Country of the world or State.

Thank You
Glenn

IForgeIron is visited by over 50 world wide countries each month and you can now talk to anyone in the world as easily as the fellow next door. I will bring this to the top of the page as we are always interested where the folks we talk to live.

We are not asking for details, just a country of the world, and if in the US a state. Thanks.

Thats one of the neatest things about this forum Glenn. It really makes the world a smaller place

IForgeIron is a world wide forum and we have many members that do not have a location listed. Please take time to follow the instructions at the beginning of this thread and post your location. We don't need your street address, just a country or state will be close enough.

Thanks
Glenn

The location by my name says "IForgeIron". I do spend a good deal of time there.

If you go to the bottom of any of the site pages you will see IForgeIron is located in Big Chimney, WV, USA. To find it, put your finger in about the center of the eastern half of the United States.

Big Chimney, yes it does exist. And what better place to have a blacksmith shop and a web site called I Forge Iron than Big Chimney?
