Time Zone Information

A debate has online and now in blacksmithing has been time zones.

For most of the internet, it goes by US time zones (usually GMT -5:00 to GMT -8:00), which doesn't do justice to our friends in everywhere else in the world. Originally I Forge Iron forums were setup to London GMT of 0:00. Which is quite universal. But later it was changed to reflect the location of the administrators of the website.

If you live in another time zone, at time of registration you may pick it. Chances are if you're reading this you're already registered. In that case please go to the following:

User CP > Edit Options > Date and Time Options > Time Zone

Now all dates in your forum will correspond to your time zone.
