Default Massive Updates Pending...

Please be patient as things are about to become interesting.

Last week we went through 3-4 servers trying to get the site back online. Unfortunately, due to this event we'll have to make all changes live! This is also known as 'How not to upgrade a website' for things may not look pretty until we're done.

The Forum, Chat, and Gallery will remain up.

You'll probably see the new upgrades as we install them and have a ton of questions. Please hold your comments until we're done.

Should we wear safety glasses and bump helmets whilst cruising the site?

IForgeIron has added a couple of new metal working sections to the site.

Tim Smithing and Copper Smithing.

The tinsmiths and coppersmiths now have a place to exchange ideas, patterns, tips, tricks, etc. If you need specific sub-sections, please contact me and they can be created.

As we are updating and making some changes to the site, some of the buttons on the opening page of the site may (or may not) work.

To get to the information, use the search the site feature. For instance to locate a Blueprint, search for the Blueprint number (BP0133) or a Blueprint series (BP013 which will return BP0130 to BP0139) or a key word.

All this will clear up as we get the updates and changes completed. Thank you for your patience.

We have added 4 new blacksmithing events to the IForgeIron Gallery, ABA 2005, BAM 2004, Herb Derr hammer in 2003, and Colonial Williamsburg 2004.

If you go to an event, take photos and post them to the gallery so those of us that can not make it, can see what we missed. Just contact us and we can set up a folder for any event to keep all the photos in one place for easy viewing.

We have brought the new front page on line. We are currently moving the information from the old system to the new system. New content will be added as it becomes available. Join us as we forge our way into the future and build a legacy to the blacksmithing and metalworking crafts.
