Glenn,

Thanks for your offer of a landing place for the Forgemagic folks who were not already members here while the site was down.

Glenn, I too would like to express gratitude for your service to the community. It was kinda like we had a fire and you took us in. We appreciate it.

You can not claim to be a member of a community without also being a good citizen in the same community.

* When Keen Junk said they were closing the site, we contacted them and ask if we could some how be of assistance. When they went off line we invited the Keen Junk folks to join us at IForgeIron.

* When Anvilfire lost their chat room, we opened a chat within 24 hours. When they came back on line 2 weeks later, we made the announcement on IFI and closed the IFI chat within 2 hours, redirecting the link to Anvilfire's chat.

* When Forgemagic was formed we supported them.

* And when Forgemagic had server issues and went off line, we invited them to use the IFI site. We announced they were back on line on the opening page of IForgeIron within 15 minutes of the first post on Forgemagic.

IForgeIron supports the Blacksmithing Community.

We hope the new Forgemagic set up serves you well and is problem free long into the future. But if you ever need out place to hang out, just come on over.

And Thank You for the kind words about IForgeIron. They are taken to heart and are very much appreciated.

that happens over there recently...some idiot is disrupting things. don't take it as the way the place normally runs. it's a very nice crowd that frequents the place.

Forgemagic is having some difficulty with spammers. This is not the normal order of business on their site. Give them some time and they should get it straightened out.
