Default Forgemagic off line

Sparky (Allan Turner) webmaster of Forgemagic says that the company sponsoring the Forgemagic web site is no more and he is trying to work out a new deal. It looks like they may be off line till the middle of September.

I contacted Sparky and they are working on the problem. He estimates being back on line about the middle of September.

From what I understand Forgemagic was using the same server as the company that employed Sparky. The company went out of business and this took everything company related off line, including the sponsorship of Forgemagic.

The blacksmithing community is about helping each other and sharing information. I have made several offers to try to ease the withdrawal symptoms of those folks at Forgemagic. This includes server space, setting up a dedicated section on the site (that could be transfered to Forgemagic for archiving in their files), and several other options.

Sparky is trying to set up a server account to get the site back on line. We wish him, and Forgemagic, a speedy recovery.

Am sure Sparky appreciates the offer.
