| Got my Hofi hammers today...the cast is 3 lbs 2.5 oz, the forged is 3 lbs 10.5 oz, weights include obviously the handles. I sanded the handles down to fit me as they were, to my taste, too large and squared. The forged hammer needed more clean up on the hammer head than the cast to get the peins rounded and the forged needed the face squared up. Both are now well balanced and I'm happy with them. Hope everyone has their's or gets them soon and like them as well. I'm not sure how a comparison between the cast and forged will actually be relevant as there is a half pound difference between the two, but we shall see.
