Still waiting for mine. The wife is going away with her sister for a week. Great timing!! When it comes I won't be explaining a thing except to the shop dog..

I GOT MY HAMMER!!! YEEEE HAAAWWW!!!
Talked with Glenn on the phone Friday night and he said it was on it's way, got busy and did not check the mail Saturday but the kids checked it Sunday afternoon and found this box sitting all alone in our mailbox. My hammer actually arrived on Saturday and I didn't even know it!

I'm not sure but there may have been a spot of lipstick on it but I wiped it off pretty easy or maybe it was a little glue?

Actually I love the forge marks in the head and can't wait to lay it into a hot bar of iron. The handle is a little more block shaped than handles on my other hammers but from the initial time of just holding and spending time with my new baby I think I may like it. It surely does not cause my hand to wrap as far around the handle as others and I hope it may reduce the soreness I have been experiencing in my hand since restarting my forging this year.

A sincere thanks to Uri Hofi for his long term friendship to this site and to the blacksmiths of the world. In appreciation I have dedicated that each time I use this hammer I will pray for the peace of Israel.

The hammers here. The hammers here. What a beauty. Glenn, thanks for making this happen for all of us. Hofi, thanks for designing and making such nice tools for us to use. I may have to miss a day of work to use this baby.

All hammers have taken flight to their new homes. You should have your hammer by the weekend. Thank you for your support of IForgeIron.
