These custom hammers are made in Israel by Mr. Uri Hofi. The weights and prices are listed in the very first post of this thread. Click here. Quote:
Big Blu 3.5 lbs hammer: the price is $120 plus $12 shipping for $132 (listed on their web site) IFI Hofi 3 lbs hammer the price is : $125 plus $10 shipping for $135 which is made and shipped from Israel. The $3 difference...... Hofi supports IForgeIron with his blueprints (53 BP's in the 1000 series), his photos in the IFI Gallery (over 611), his posts (over 736), and providing IForgeIron quality tools for sale to the IForgeIron members, with a portion of the sales going to support IForgeIron. He has also donated tools to IForgeIron with the entire sale going to support the site. My dealings with Hofi have been by internet, by phone, and in person. When Hofi goes out of his way to obtain a piece of steel from Germany to have material to build one (1) specific weight hammer in order to please just one (1) customer....well you decide.

I will say again- without all of your effort, this kind of wish would not be fulfilled. I figure I owe you/The Forum something extra in thanks. So say we all???mike t.(I really like "Just Ole' Lefty"- but it takes awhile to type.) EDIT--if my big hammer is not in there, then, of course, I take all of that nice stuff I said back!!!!<g>

I am new here but I was looking at your prices of the Big Blu Hammer and I just bought one the other day from them at sofa and the price for thier 3.5 lbs hammer is only $110.00. I also own one of the Hofi hammers that I bought years a ago and I personally find no difference other that the stamp which is just a brand name. Also Big Blu offers a one year warranty on the handle and and after that it is only $12 to have it rehandled with a new handle. Just my two cents.
