Foundation Plans for Chambersburg Model L

I may be picking up a Chambersburg Model L hammer, probably 750 lb. to 1000 lb. size. I'm looking for plans or specs. for the foundation.I understand it is built up with timbers but how deep, sizes, whats under the timbers etc.

Rick: look over at Anvilfire.com. In the Guru's Den forum, someone is offering a model L with installation istructions currently owned by a high school. Possibly you could get a copy of those instructions.

I have the 11th edition of the machinery's handbook. It has plans and specs for hammer foundations. That one will be pretty substantial. If you are still looking I can dig it out and give you the secs.
