Default forge

I found a round end stainlesstop out of a ss hotwater heater
it is 24" across 8" deep and about 1/8' thick.
? will this make a good forge.
just one hole at the rounded end that has a gage in it.
any remarks appreciated

ps i have a gas forge but want to try it a differant way

No I don't think that will work at all and in fact it is practically worthless. I live about an hour away from you and if you are going to be around home tomorrow I would be glad to drive down and haul it away for free

Seriously, that will make you a great forge. I look forward to seeing it finished.
