Thank you for the photos.
There is no question in my mind that a lot of muscle energy and sweat was produced while using all of that equipment.
As I view the photos, I can only imagine what it would have been like to work back when that equipment was in use.
I believe the videos of the “Chain Makers” (found on you.tube.com) gives a good idea of how hard they had to work back then.

Where is the Fisher and Norris museum?

I thought the lifting bails were pretty cool - an easy and safe way to pick up an anvil with a crane or lifting bar. I think I will build one to use on demo weekends.

If ever I need an anvil, I'll know where to go.... that is.... if I knew where the musium was. Any clues on that one...

If you got the truck I'll bring the masks. They don't have guard dogs do they? I don't see it being too effective a getaway plan running from dogs with an anvil in hand.

Well, we all know what I'll be dreaming about for the next few days
